Bonnie Jean Westmoreland

This past week our family got together to celebrate the life of the sweetest woman I have ever known. Matt's Grandma, Bonnie Jean Westmoreland, went to live with Jesus and Moto (as the kids put it) on Monday March 21st 2011.

She was so wonderful. From the very first time I met her, she took me into the family. I remember asking her what I should call her, Bonnie or Grandma, she said that Grandma was fine =) and from there on I was very lucky to get to call her that. She had the greatest smile and the cutest most sincere laugh ever. Even when we couldnt make it out for a while, we would cathc up just like there hadnt been a gap in time. She loved our kids even though there seemed to be a new one everytime we showed up. Amazingly enough in all of the time we spent chasing our kids around their house, we only broke one figurine.

She was beautiful, patient, kind, funny, understanding, and just all around wonderful. Grandma, I wish we had more time together, but I know you are in a better place. I know I am only one of many people that will miss you always. I love you and rest in peace.

• Santa Monica •

This past week has been nothing less than stressful, but I was able to sneak away for a day to go to Santa Monica with my family. We had our Colorado relatives out for spring break and they were ready for some beach action!! Even though it was really REALLY cold out, it was still a gorgeous day.

Wednesday September the 16th was Ryders first day of preschool, and I got to go with him. The parents have to help out in the classroom four times during the session, so of course I set up my day as the first day of school. Ryder was so excited to go, he has been asking to go to school since he was about 3!!! I think it was everything he had hoped for and more!! In fact he likes it so much he has requested that he get to go all by himself this week..... he just doesn't need me like he used to!!

There are more pictures on my moms camera that I will share later. It is amazing how big he has gotten and how much he has grown up!! I l*ve you "little" man!!

School.....

So school is going to have to wait till next semester. Unfortunately, when I went to try to crash my classes, there was not any room for me. The way the school does it is if there are any students that want to add the class, if there is an opening,will be added by their priority registration date. So there were like 10-20 people in each of my classes that wanted to add. And there were about 5 that still had July dates, mine was Aug. 1st at 10:00am. So there was not any room for me this semester. But I will be going down to the school to use their math lab to get a customized lesson plan to help me be better at doing the calculations in my head. There is also supposed to be open testing for Air Traffic Control in January, which I am studying for. So yeah. Looks like it will hopefully be taking off in January =) YAY!!

Muttin Bustin'

Ryder has joined the Rodeo, the sheep riding rodeo that is. Thats right, my little man rode like a pro!!!

I think Matt was more nervous than Ryder was.

In the days before the actual ride, Matt got Ryder all pumped up. He was practicing the fall more than he was the actual holding on. But man, he went down like a pro!!!

Matt was so proud of him. There was another little boy that backed out at the last minuet, but Ryder climbed right on and went for it. Matt even told him that if he didnt want to do it, he just had to say so. But Ryder was sure and stuck to his guns.

Well, he looked way more sure before he did it.

And the prize winning t-shirt..... that he wont stop wearing.

Me.....

I am about to turn 27 in July... ahhhhh! When I came to that realization --- which was a rather painful one --- my hubby and I decided that it was time for me to start working on a career..... So in August I will be starting back to school for Air Traffic Control!!! Yeah, sounds pretty serious. The only school that offers courses on it is in Walnut, CA at least 1.5 hours away from home!!! =( So the next two or so years will be tough, but we will manage and the payoff will be great!!! Other than that news, I am currently bar tending at Chili's and taking care of home in my little bit of spare time. I also love to scrapbook, blog, exercise (new hobby) and plan. I love being a mommy and most of the time a wife =) And that folks, just about sums me up.....

The Hubby.....

My hubby --- he is my other half, my best friend and definately my partner in crime =) He is currently working as contracted security forces through the Air Force..... not his dream job, but he is working toward his dreams. He is a wonderful daddy and a great provider. In his free time he likes to ride dirt bikes and hopes to get to do a few races this summer, he loves motocross and street bikes, and anything that has to do with them. He is also a great dog daddy..... as seen in this picture =)

Our Biggest.....

This is our biggest kid =) He just turned 4 and will be starting school in August, as soon as I figure out where he is going to go. His favorite things are monster trucks, acting like a wild monkey, the zoo, and like his Daddy any thing with two wheels. He is very smart and asks questions about everything. He loves his little sister and brother, they are his best friends. When he grows up he wants to drink coffee, be a dirt bike rider and make daddy chocolate drinks. Lol, yeah Im not sure where he got the last one =)

Our Middlest.....

This is our little miss.....She just turned 3 . Everyday she amazes us with how fast she learns and how funny she is. She loves to sing, dance and be a princess. You can usually find her rocking out to a song in her head , dancing around in her princess dresses. She makes me smile all of the time. She also loves bikes, dirt, water and rough housing with her brothers and daddy. She is also he brothers protector. Anytime they are hurt, scared or anything she is right there to hold their hands and comfort them. When she grows up she wants to be a princess, and sing and dance and ride bikes.

Our Littlest.....

This is our littlest, he is going to turn 2 in September. He is learning to talk, and can say so much. Everytime we say something he repeats us and from then on he can say it. The only word that he seems to have trouble with is yes..... but i think that is selective, the little buger!! He is such a dare devil.... watch out Travis Pastrana..... I think he is next in line. He is always jumping off of things and crashing. Always!!! He has had stitches and glue and he is not even two yet!!! Yikes!!! He loves his big brother and sister, everything they do he has to do, he loves anything with wheels and anything dirty. He is a big helper and a snuggler. Hes not sure what he wants to be when he grows up, but Im pretty sure it will be something in the stunt business.
